The Forms to enter the Brightlingsea Bowling Club Competitions are now available from the Club House. The forms can be found by the Front Door. Please contact the competition committee for any further info.

Mens National
Double Fours
Round 2 !
Monday 6th May
5-6pm Start
Our Mens National Double Fours Team's played a fantastic game at Home in terrible weather conditions to beat a strong Wivenhoe Team. Our Men will now progress to the next round, meeting Frinton on Sea.
The second round will be played on Sunday 19th May @ 3pm Venue=Frinton.

The Tendring Windsor League has begun. Please watch the boards for our Home and Away Fixtures.
Members are encouraged to participate or come along and support.

Ladies Team's
Opening Games
Thursday 9th May 2024
The Brightlingsea Ladies Teams both played at home this week. Our A Team lost on one Rink and Drew on the second rink earning a hard faught point early in the season. Our B Team won on one Rink and lost on the second against Kirby. The B Team picked up a massive 3 points by also winning the overall shots by just one.
Another great day of Ladies Bowling at Brightlingsea was had by all.

Season 2024 Schedule
You will find the latest fixture information for Season 2024 on our new Club Diary page. Our club gets involved at National level and is often competing in the later stages of the Essex County and Tendring District competitions. We compete weekly in a wide range of competitions, leagues and formats. We encourage all members to participate or support.
About Brightlingsea
Brightlingsea Bowling Club is a competitive and friendly lawn bowls club based in the Tendring district of Essex. New and experienced bowlers are always welcomed. Our qualified Coaches can provide any training required to get you started. We have competitive or friendly game opportunities available to all members. Our outdoors season is generally April to September. We stay open during the autumn and winter months usually October to March providing carpet bowls and a friendly bar with a great atmosphere. Our Club is constantly evolving and growing. We have members competing at all levels of National Bowls. Our mission is to provide a fantastic club and green that provides opportunities for every member.
